Tournament Rules:

1. Entry is open to all members of the Southern Lakes Bowling Association.

2. Use last year’s highest average, 21 games or more. If no average last year, use current average, 21 games or more, the first time you bowl an event. No Youth averages accepted. Bowlers competing in more than one association shall use their highest average. If no average last year, or no current average in the SLUSBC Association, use last years highest average anywhere. Bowlers who have no established average shall use 215 scratch. Rerating requirements of the ABC rule 319c shall apply. 15 pin rule shall apply.

3. Entrants may bowl more than once in the team event, subject to the following conditions:

A. No more than two (2) players on the same team can place more than once in the prize list for position standings.
B. A bowler participating more than once in the team event must use his first score for “all-events”.

4. Entrants may bowl only once in the singles and doubles events. Singles and doubles will be bowled on same pair.

5. Tardy players can start to bowl in the frame being bowled as they arrive, taking zero for all frames missed.

6. “All-events” cash prizes and awards will be awarded on a handicap basis.
There will be 2 divisions 175 and under for singles and all events. 350 and under for doubles ~.,

7. Entry fee will be $15.00 per bowler per event. Optional all events fee is $5 and must be paid when first event is paid for. Prizes will be paid at a 1 in 6 ratio

8. Tournament will be handicap, using 90% of 215.

9. If there is tie for first place in any event, co-champions will be declared and the first and second place prize money divided equally and duplicate trophies given.

10. It shall be the bowlers responsibility to determine that the submitted average is correct. Rule 319e is applicable.

11. ABC rule 319e does not apply. `

12. Lanes will be assigned by tournament management for each event.

13. When bowlers are scheduled alone on a pair of lanes, they must bowl as though they were actually opposed. The players shall complete one frame on one lane before the leadoff player commences the next frame on the adjoining lane.

14. Errors in scoring must be reported to the tournament manager within 24 hours.

15. Entries Close Saturday March 31st 2018 1:00 pm unless extended.

Shoe Drive – Start Cleaning your Closets

Theresa is helping with a shoe drive and she wants you all to pitch in.

We would gladly help take all those unwanted shoes off your hands. 


We will have barrels at River City Lanes that you can drop off your gently worn, used and new shoes.
If you are unable to make it out to the center, let us know and I will make arrangements to pick-up your shoes from you.
We will be collecting the entire month of January – THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for helping us out.

The “Winter Dance Party®” re-creates the final tour of Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper, the three legendary artists who died in a plane crash on Feb. 3, 1959.

Each live performance includes more than two hours of unbridled entertainment featuring the artists’ hit songs of the 1950’s, including “That’ll Be The Day,” “Peggy Sue,” “Oh, Boy,” “Rave On,” “La Bamba,” “Chantilly Lace” and many more.

 

Mueller, the critically acclaimed former star of the U.S. touring version of the London/Broadway hit musical “Buddy – the Buddy Holly Story,” performs as Buddy Holly, with Ray Anthony as Ritchie Valens and Linwood Sasser as the Big Bopper. The artists will be joined on-stage by an energetic four-piece band that features the guitar, drums, stand-up bass and saxophone, the latter being played by Grammy Award-winning saxophone player Mike Acosta.

Cancellations – Insurance – Information

All trips require full payment at time of booking.

Day trip tickets are non-refundable unless the trip is cancelled.  All tickets are transferable to someone else if you are unable to attend.
If an overnight trip is cancellation is requested there is a 50% penalty if cancelled is more than 30 days prior to departure. Less than 30 days this is no refund.

Travel Insurance options are available from Latitudes Travel.
A minimum of 40 persons per bus are required to have this trip proceed as planned.
Determination of the trip status will be made approximately 2 weeks prior to departure. If the trip is cancelled your money is refunded in full.

2017 Christmas Craft Fair

River City and Bruno’s will once again be participating in the Waterford Christmas in the Village.

We are proud and excited to announce that we will again be participating in the Waterford Christmas in the Village event being held on Friday & Saturday, November 17th and 18th.

The Christmas in the village event is a very popular local event with many different businesses joining in the event.
River City hosts a Multi-vendor show with crafts, food, gifts and services all under one warm and cozy roof!
